Has anyone used a collaborative Family Lawyer (Not looking for recommendations, just want to know if it works) or your experience.

Hi, I'm going through the motions of a separation. I'm not a financially motivated man and have been warned that this will result in my being taken advantage of. My Ex wants us to create a binding financial agreement through collaborative practice and I can't sleep worrying that I'm going to be left in a bad way and unable to provide the lifestyle I want to for my little girls. Thanks for sharing, K

I used mediation for my divorce . I looked up what a collaborative lawyer does and it seems very fair to both but I suppose it may depend on the skills of the lawyers in involved.
I understand why you worry. Is it possible to find a lawyer competent in this practice that you can trust.
