can anyone give me advice about this... i try my hardest when i meet new people to do things they want to do and be there for them but i never get it in return .... i go to uni, go to gym, come home, eat and then go to bed rinse repeat .... the only thing that keeps me alive is my girlfriend ... what am i doing wrong ? why does everyone just seem to never want to come and see me ?

Human beings are strange creatures. The more you give, the more they think you are a dud.
There is nothing wrong with you but I advise self preservation. If your kindness is not reciprocated after one attempt, then don't continue. You have your girlfriend and why not do couple activities. Besides you are studying for a better future, your future. This is what matters, not those people who don't care about you. Friendship is two way street and happens naturally, not forced. Remember, self preservation and you won't get hurt that much.
