Hey Cassie,
If you don't want to talk about things then that's fine, but keep in mind these forums are anonymous and there are web chat services on offer from beyondblue as well if you need help 🙂 but if you just want some company...are you working/studying at the moment?
Ben

dear Cassie, I did reply to your reply which you posted on Yesican's comment.
Well as you can see I have a puppie and her name is Moo-Moo, or rather that's her nick-name, but she has a problem and I have to give her a tablet everyday that cost $10 each, and thank goodness I took out pet insurance.
You like clothes and I guess shoes as well and would not even guess how many pairs you have.
Where have you travelled by plane, boat or train and still have your passport, and any thoughts about going somewhere else, as o/s trips are cheap these days. .Geoff. x

Hi Cassie, welcome in. As Ben says, the forums are anonymous and it's part of our rules that we don't allow our members to use this space to meet up offline - this is for your own safety. But please stay with us and talk, this is a great place to find like-minded people who understand what you're going through.

Hi there Cassie
Chatting is great and you’ve had a couple of lovely responses already. I too am interested about your mentioning of travel – in that, what places have you been too? Which ones did you like and yes, what plans do you have for the future, in regard to travel?
I’ll just quickly touch on the part about you and your struggle with things and that it makes you down to talk about. As mentioned, it’s all anonymous here and so many people come here and post about their issues, their struggles or just parts of them – and because we are all fellow sufferers, it’s highly likely you’ll get someone to respond back to you who has “been there and faced that”, or something similar. There’s no judgement on these forums, they are moderated very well by the good people at Beyond Blue and the people who respond just want to reach out and try to help as much as we can; trying for advice, guidance, but above all else, 100% support.
Ok, so that wasn’t so quick to touch on, as I kind of get carried away – but just wanting to say, if you wanted to share, even a little bit, we’re here to support you. And if not then that’s totally cool too.
With regard to your ‘stuff’ though, do you have a gp that you’ve been too, to seek out some professional help?
Ok, I’ll shut up now. 🙂
Neil

Hi Cassie,
I like your forum name. I'm also a 22 year old female, and I like to think of myself as a nice person! I also like travelling. Have you been anywhere recently? My favourite holiday was when I went to Europe in 2005 at the age of 12, with my family.
I am a really bad shopper - I don't enjoy shopping and find trying on clothes boring! Sometimes I wish I was a better shopper though; my Mum actually ends up convincing me to go shopping with her! I don't drink or smoke, but many of my friends drink. Do you ever make your own drinks?
Are you working or studying at the moment? I'm currently in my second year of a psychology degree at uni. I'm hoping to be a counsellor or psychologist in the future.
In my free time I catch up with friends, read, volunteer, relax, listen to music, watch you tube videos of talent show auditions (I personally cannot sing, dance, or act), and snack!
Hopefully this forum thread can be a fun way for you to chat to people. Even though this forum is essentially anonymous, you can still be honest and open and get to know people 🙂
Take care,
SM

HI Cassie, I'm turning 22 this year and I guess I identify a lot with your comment. I am from NZ, and spent 6 months travelling Europe on my own 🙂 I really want to go overseas again, but it's just not happening. Where have you been? I don't like talking about my problems if I am trying not to think about them either. I have no girly girl friends here in Australia, I went and saw Pitch Perfect 2 last night in the cinema by myself! I loved the movie, have you seen it?
I don't smoke, but I like to drink, and I love to dance, and I like to party.
I see you haven't replied to this thread since your original post - please come back and chat if you feel like it!
