I feel like I'm going nowhere with trying to make friends.
Currently, I only have one 'close' friend in which I can 'confide' in, but they are going through a lot right now, which deters me from adding more to that burden. I do have a friend group, but there has been a lot of tensions which is a large source of all my problems and anxieties.
I feel that talking to my parents is not the same as talking to a friend. We have also had some familial concerns which has also placed a burden on their shoulders.
I recently created a K-pop fan art account as a way to open up and find more people with my own interests, but I have now found myself at a dead end. It feels like everyone already knows each other, and every time a new account opens I miss my chance to make an actual connection.
I've tried joining group chats, tried at the start to open up and add to jokes and conversations, but for some reason I never stick anywhere. I guess that is my introvertedness to blame.
I feel like an outsider in my own life, I feel left out, like no one really gets me and I have no one to fall onto when I truly need help.

hey BlueWHale,
Rn now I'm in a similar situation and I use the beyond blue, reach out and even lifeline web chats if I need to vent. They are all anonymous and you don't have to worry about being a burden there.
with the Kpop fan art im not sure what you mean, is it an insta page or like a forum thing? But im sure if you throw enough and the wall smth will stick.
The last part where you feel like an outsider to your own life, a lot of ppl feel like this and this is very normal. right now I guess its best to try and change your perspective in your daily life, its not very easy but its one of the best courses of action you can take.
Keep ur head up gng
hope I helped 🙂
