I’m moving schools soon and I’m really stressed

I don’t know anybody who goes there and it’s really different compared to my old school. I keep having visions and dreams about going there and people saying things to me like they did in my old school. I’m just really scared and worried about going there. Theres also one more problem, my tutoring. It’s really stressing me out. They give us so much homework, I can’t do it. I’ve asked my parents if I could stop tutoring, but they always say no. And I when I go to my new school I don’t think I’ll get time to do my tutoring work or anything and I’m just super stressed.

Hi Hahahahahaha and welcome to the bb forums

I myself moved moved schools in year 9. I have to say it was the best move of my life. I was super nervous before moving schools, but me and my family decided to do so because of the opportunties it could lead to. I didn't have many subject choices in my school, and it only had 20 in my class. I was worried I wouldn't do as well in my new school but my grades went up. I was a bit nervous and shy when I started (unfortunately had some mental health issues then too) but I blossomed after being there for 6 months. I am still great friends with them today.

Change can be scary. But ultimately it can lead to great things. I know the tutoring maybe hard, I had to do tutoring myself, but it can be useful. I'd continue it for a bit and see how you go in the new school. Hopefully in time you won't need it. I didn't have to go after high school, but before I had to multiple times a week and it was stressful then, but ultimately I was glad because it helped.

I hope this was helpful. If you have anything you'd like to ask feel free, I am an open book
