As many of you know i struggle with severe anxiety and depression, today we had a morning tea/lunch event at my local McDonalds and i went, i was extremely scared about going i hadn't had my anti depressant for the day until just a few moments ago and i made it through the whole thing! which is massive, i would usually do anything i could to avoid going to something like this but i did it! i actually went and spoke to people and got a long with a lot of the adults there! i know i'm only 18 but one lady was asking me if i am able to befriend her daughter to help her through the depression she is going through at the moment too. I can't believe i made it through a full nearly 4 hours surrounded by lots of people and screaming kids!!

BBR,
I am so HAPPY for you, ive been following some of your posts, and what you did was massive!! Congratulations on your milestone. I wonder if you can recall the sense of satisfaction you felt, not only by going but also by being asked to support someone, and use this as a motivator to push yourself beyond your comfort zone, even if just once a week.
I know what McDonalds can be like on a normal day, but add heaps of people and screaming kids...anyone would think you were crazy;););)

Unfortunately, the "road to wellness" has many detours on it. Just remember though, they are just that, a detour along your road. It may take a little longer to reach your destination, but if you keep at it, you'll arrive at your destination...

It's difficult especially when though you can confide in people you don't want too because you never want to put them out but today i went, to the post office got a bunch of paperwork done, then my sister's boyfriend picked me and up and i drove to his parents house and we saw his dog whom is adorable and massive (i'm a learner driver still so it was massive seeing as i hadn't driven on proper roads before even a HIGHWAY!) now i'm just hanging out with my puppy (whom is actually not a puppy!)
