I use to have so many friends a couple years ago but it seems they have all faded away.
Since i moved to this new area everyone seems to be either jealous of me, fake or just hate me.
Is there a problem with me? Or is this normal for a girl aged 17 to have no friends

Hi Lonely Girl,
There's certainly not a problem with you. Teenagers can be really harsh, and often dont realise the detrimental effects of their behaviour.
Friends will come and go through life as you evolve and head down different paths. If people are jealous of you then this is a compliment, if people are fake then they usually either lack substance or dislike their true self. The problem lies with them. You definitely dont want people like this in your life.
Are you still st school? Or at uni? There are plenty of places that you can meet new friends who share common interests. Sporting clubs, the gym, local community centre, youth groups, extra curricular classes like learning a language, art/craft, dancing, cooking etc. Have you or would you be willing to try this? Of course when meeting people its important to keep yourself safe.
