This is the first time i've done something like this so I'm not reay sure how it works. I just feel like I needed to try and make sense of everything that's happening in my life.
To start with I have a fear of failure and happened to fail my P's test.
My dad had a heart attack a few weeks ago and had to be brought back to life (he doesnt live with me) he's alright but it's freaking me out. He's in hospital at the moment getting fluid drained.
About a week or so after that I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years. I don't even know how to feel about that.
I'm going for my liscence again in a week.
In a month I'll be going to another country with a friend for a holiday. It will be my first time doing aything like it and I'll be doing it without my mum or anyone that really knows what they're doing.
Two weeks after that I move into university and start a double degree. It will be my first time living away from home.
I think that just about covers it. I'm just really overwhelmed and I want it all to stop. I don't know how to deal with it and I know i can't just keep ignoring it and hoping it will go away while I'm secretly breaking down.

Hello KittyAzure! Welcome to the forums and good on you for having the strength to post too!
Im sorry about your dad, that would be a huge focus for you right now. He would probably need your support right now. (my dad just passed away 3 weeks ago from a heart attack) I understand your predicament
Having a fear of failure re your P's is normal...You have had the courage to post here on the forums...I dont foresee a problem with you passing your license as you have a healthy pro-active attitude
Its only my humble opinion Kitty but you have way way too much on your plate right now with your recent break up with your boyfriend.....your license....your dad...starting a dble degree at Uni...Even thats a truckload on its own to deal with on its own...not even including going o/seas
Your health (and your dads) comes first here....it may disappoint your friend and even cost you money to cancel your trip........but you can always go overseas....Your family need you here right now...probably more than you know. I really hope you can do yourself a favor and postpone your vacation overseas...
Your plate is way too full.....I hope you can lighten the load for your own benefit (and your dads)
you are not alone here Kitty
my kindest thoughts
Paulx

Hi KittyAzure,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for reaching out to us.
Just to start, there's no right or wrong way to go about the forums here. It's just about saying what's on your mind, even if it doesn't always make sense at times!
Paul (blondguy) is absolutely right. You have so much on your plate right now. I can't imagine what you're going through but I can understand that it would be incredibly overwhelming.
As someone whose struggled so much with depression over the years I know this: we were never meant to do it alone. Have you talked to anyone about what's going on for you?
You said that you want it to stop, and I get that, but there's so many things out of your control here. The things you could potentially stop would be redoing the test for your P's (and trying it again later), postponing the trip or postponing your degree. Either way, these are not decisions you could take lightly, so I highly vouch for you reaching out and getting the support you need.

Hi Kitty and welcome to the forums.
I would support romantic's suggestion of finding someone to talk it all over with - if you have a good GP this is the place to start. Or even ring Beyond Blue - they have wonderful people at the end of the phone who may offer some help too.
Whatever you do, know you are not alone.
I do hope your Dad improves - I miss mine dreadfully (He passed away 7 years ago from cancer)
Sending good vibes and let us know what is going on if you feel comfortable..
