Depression, hate and mental health issues

I feel like I can't talk to anyone. I feel so empty and useless and unneeded. I have physical things like tech and other stuff but not personal wants like a friend I can talk to or someone i can talk to when i feel like nothing. I always feel like I don't belong and everyone hates me, I hate myself and I have a short fuse. Please give me some advice. Thanks.

dear JS, hello and thanks for posting your comment.

I'm so sorry that you have now have issues that you aren't able to cope with, but that's exactly what depression does to anybody, because it makes our world collapse, and alienates us from people who were once our friends, but no longer want anything to do with trying to help us, it's too hard for them and just want to disappear from even contacting us, that's why we feel useless and empty.

You aren't able to overcome this by yourself and that's why you should go and see your doctor, and ask him/her about the 'mental health plan' where you can get 10 free visits to see a psychologist.

I'm also sorry to Lhix who is in a similar situation, but it is such a strong illness that has no discrimination towards anybody, it doesn't care who it effects.

I hope that you can get back to us. Geoff.
