trying to meet new people

Hi group.im Maxwell. I write here cause i like to help.if i succeed it helps me cope with myself. To know about other people trying hard.makes me .cause i was a competitive surfer. I also write songs and play guitar. Lately im trying to meet new people but i dont like it here.im from the north coast.as my name tag suggests. Anyway. I hope to be of help and support while im here. Max

Hi Dottie. Im a bit of an insomniac

So i just read your reply. I am much more positive with other peoples problems. Than.my own. I was going to be a councilor a few years ago.but was too stressed. now im a solo musician.song writer. Ive written heaps.also short stories.poems.i did my own abstract art .but i havnt got patience for that now.i realy wanto have another crack at forming a band and doing free concerts for sick kids. Maybe one day. If i succeed that I'll be happy. Also surfing was my life. I competed at 15 yo. Surfed for decades. Reef breaks. But now ive had skin cancers out. So im retired. Lol. Hope you arnt bored. MAX

Hiya Max, just want to add my welcome. Great to have you in the BB community. I love your idea of playing for sick kids! Wouldn't that be fun, and rewarding.

I agree that helping other people is a great way to help ourselves. Sometimes it's not enough though, and we need to reach out for help too. If you find yourself in that situation Max, know that we are here for you. This is a safe and supportive place to talk about anything if you need to.

It's great to hear from you again. Rest assured, I'm not bored ha, ha. I enjoy learning about people's different experiences and interests on the forum.

The skin cancer must have have been rough; I hope you're in the clear with that one. Wow, you've led a very interesting life- lots of creative pursuits which is fantastic.

I think the free concerts for sick kids is a brilliant idea. You have a lot to give.
