Hey everyone,
I'm here to meet some new people and have somewhere to talk about anxiety, depression, and grief, And to help others too.
I recently lost my Dad to cancer, So I'm currently trying to cope and work through some awful grief. If anyone has any advice on dealing with grief, I'm open to hearing it.
Thanks 🙂

Welcome to the forums Lyddie.
You have come to the right place. So please feel free to "talk" to us, share as much of your story, thoughts and concerns as you feel comfortable with. This is a safe place to do so, your space.
I'm sorry about your loss. A distressing time for you...Grief is a necessary process that cannot be fast forwarded. We are all different so there is no right/wrong way to grieve. Doing what your heart tells you to do is the way to go.
But please don't forget to take good care of yourself. Pain can become overwhelming when there is nothing else in our life. It is a good idea to distract yourself by doing whatever can focus your attention for a while and bring a little brightness. I'm sure your Dad would want you to continue looking after your well being.
Depression and anxiety can magnify grief. They're no easy combination to deal with so be kind to yourself. There is "Grief and Loss" info in the Facts section (top left of this page), also a relevant section in the forums.
Looking forward to reading more from you.
