I am currently fighting depression and anxiety, and I was thinking maybe sharing some diary journals of mine would help me.

1. Could be a new outlet to let people around the world read them?

2. Gets me more support and help.

However I'm worried about the consequences of social media. Can someone tell me if it's a good or bad idea please..??

Welcome to Beyond blue forums, this sight is a safe place to get advice. It is well moderated by caring people. Who only want it safe for everyone. If you need support in here you can get it anomalously. None knows who you are, you don't know who we are. Usually we all draw from life experience, or what we would do in that situation. So either you take the advice or not you wont be forced into anything you don't want. Or is best for you.

Hi thecharadegirl, welcome to the forums.

The main purpose of our forums is conversation and dialogue.  If you're wanting a space just to post your diaries and not to talk to other members, then it might be better for you to start up a blog.  We have word limits on posts to prevent long entries that members will find difficult to absorb and respond to, and we discourage the posting of multiple threads on similar topics as this can flood the space for others seeking support.

We would recommend having a look through the guide threads below to help you decide whether these forums are the best place for you at the moment:
