I've been living with anxiety and depression since my teens, now in my lateish 30s. Exacerbated by a seriously toxic relationship and breakup a number of years ago that I'm yet to process properly.
Anywhoo, excited to get to know some of you fine folks. Get some advice and pass some of my own on.
Phil.

Dear Phil,
Thank you for being here and wanting to share part of yourself with others who will benefit from hearing your story.
I am sorry to hear your trip didn't work out as you'd hoped, but I'm glad you kept yourself safe by returning home as needed.
Enduring a toxic relationship is a massive hurdle in life. Although you feel you haven't processed it properly, I think just acknowledging that fact is a huge step in the right direction. Many don't even realise this us a thing to be done, so, I think you are ahead if the game by being aware of it.
I survived one of those myself, and it has made me a stronger person I think, but it was excruciating at the time. You are very welcome to share anything you like here about what you want thorough, or what you are still feeling.
Also, the looooooong discussion about your Christmas without your family is very welcome here. There are many of us on the forums who found/find Christmas an exceptionally difficult time, and we will listen with open hearts to you.
Welcome Phil, I'm glad you're here.
