Hi im a mum to 8 young kids..ive had anxiety and depression for a while but 10 weeks i had a very traumatic cesarean birth which has made my depression so much worse..i havent left the house..my husband is no support and tells me to get over it.

hi Mm8kids, this must be traumatic for you, and although I'm not qualified to say but have you been diagnosed with PND.
This is something you can't just 'get over it' and it's unfortunate that he has made you fall pregnant 8 times and should be more understanding in helping you in any way possible.
You have to get him to look after the kids while you book an appointment with your doctor, this is something you need to try and have the strength to do, because you can't stay at home and still struggle with your depression while coping with 8 kids, if your doctor does home visits thatmaybe another way around this, but please at least ring them up. Geoff.
