You're not alone. I'm way older than you, mum of 2 kids older than you and 1 younger, but "yikes" still makes perfect sense to me.
Awesome on getting straight A's, and I bet you're a pretty good gamer, too - what's your game of choice? I admit I know next to nothing, but my kids have done Minecraft, Overwatch, Fortnight, League of Legends and so many more, I forget them.
I've reached out on here for the first time tonight, too, so just thought I'd say hi, and you're so not alone in feeling very lost. Your GP is a great first way to go, and you don't need parents to be a part of that if you don't want to. Headspace is also fantastic - my daughter has just started going there and I'm really impressed - no judgement, no hassle, just really kind, helpful people.
