Intro I guess...

Hi guys.

Been diagnosed by psychiatrists with a multitude of illnesses including: depression, anxiety, panic disorder, GAD, bipolar, BPD.

Have been voluntarily scheduled once; despite seeing approx. 10 psychiatrists over the years (approx 5 years since I started treatment with antidepressants), none can agree on my diagnosis.

Just looking for support, currently back on 150mg of antidepressants (gradual build-up after a year off all meds). Will go up to 200mg in a month's time. Cannot go on antipsychotics because of extrapryramidal side effects (the "look-ups").

ADs are gradually improving mood and motivation but can still sleep for up to 16 hours if uninterrupted. Not good for uni (postgrad student).

Just baring all and saying hi. Any friendship or support would be great.

Cheers.

hello there sweety. I'm so disheartened that ur are on such high dosages of medication ( any chance this can re-evaluated with ur psychiatrist if you still have one?) yes and def not good if ur at uni as a post grad student, i don't blame you for feeling all zombied out, I would be too, actually i remember when i was actually when they fist put me on meds i was taking up to 4 different types so yeah i felt all zombied out, and i'm so sad to hear that no one has agreed on diagnosis yet. sometimes when there are many overlapping symptoms it can be difficult to narrow down. I am also a recipient of multiple diagnosis - bipolar, mood disorder, anxiety, BPD, depression, body dysmorphic disorder and i know it's so frustrating in the meantime while u r playing medication hockey until they get a more accurate diagnosis for you. always nice to talk with you please keep posting here xx Venessa and a very warm welcome to you.
