i finally want to help myself

Hi, I'm K I'm 37 and its the first time I've ever been on a chat line. I have had anxiety since I was 3 I reckon, then depression in my teens wich I covered up with illegal drugs wich led to violent relationships and in the end a broken jaw in 3 places wich brought on P.T.S.D.. Now for the first time I'm seriously doing something about it to help myself, my family helped me before now and that didn't fully work. I'm doing this myself and hopefully I can get support from this site, the stories I've read have been similar so far I feel good about putting myself out here on this site.

dear K, hi and nice to talk to you and sorry it's been a few hours, and please don't be scared at all by being on this site, because we don't know what you look like or who you are, rather than my photo and puppie.

Your first few years are not what anyone would ever expect, but when we have anxiety at a young age and maybe depression we try whatever we can to make it go away, and sometimes this may mean hooking up with the wrong crowd, not that we know this, but unfortunately violence may occur, which is what has happened for you.

I want to congratulate yourself for now trying to get the help that you need, but sometimes this doesn't come from our family or friends, but then who are our real friends, this however will be determined as we go along, as most of them leave us.

I would be really interested in knowing what you have planned as it seems to be an enormous program, but with help and people who have been through whatever you have will be of great help and support.

So please get back to us. Geoff.

I might suggest that you look online for this, its a technique you do yourself called:

"Faster E.F.T".Its easy to learn and you can use it everyday. It makes your daily life better and improves your overall wellbeing. I've been doing it for the last months and I find it very helpful.
