How long does it take to get first post approved

Hi all - I posted my first ever post last evening - new thread in anxiety - and I know it takes time to get posted. It has been 12 hours. Is that normal? My post wasn't offensive at all. Thanks for any insight.

hi In the desert, the moderators have to check your comment and make sure it's acceptable, which I'm sure it was, and the amount of time this happens depends on what time of day it is, so if you click on 'My Threads' which does take awhile to transfer over to and if you see your comment then it's been posted.
Another way to check is click on to 'All Posts' and scan down to the 'anxiety section' and if it's there, then again it's been posted, you may also have to go through the pages on 'New Posts' from page 1 to page 6 because if the site is busy any comment will quickly go from page 1 to to another page.
