Hi,

not too sure where to start. Struggling with depression that doesnt lift or change and has been constant for such a long time. Take my meds, try to do the dbt mindfulness and grounding strategies and keep a daily schedule and routine but while it helps me to manage to survive it doesnt make life ... meaningful/enjoyable/bearable. Wondering what else others do to help them get through, help to not feel so low all the time?

Hi MillieMe,I to struggle with depression as well as anxiety and panic attacks.I have really been struggling of late as well.It sounds like you been doing a lot and the right things to improve but still struggling.I am glad you have come on here as this site has really helped me a lot when i am struggling and feeling very depressed.I find just talking to other people with similar or even different problems has helped me.Their is a lot of great caring people on here who listen and are non judgemental.I hope this site can help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling. If it makes you feel any better, I, and others like Mark, are in the same position as you. Sometimes it helps a bit just to know that you're not alone.

Do you have a health professional helping you at all if you don't mind me asking? So a GP, Psychologist and/or Psychiatrist?

You're always welcome on these forums, 24/7 and they're moderated for peace of mind and everyone's safety.

Do you like walking, or are you able to? I walk a few times daily and sometimes it clears my head and makes me feel better, well a little anyway. You can see so many nice things on a walk such as nice birds depending where you live.

I'm always here if you need me, I hope that you continue to come on the forums and I hope you can seek support from being here. Love and hugs, I hope you feel better soon. Just know that you're not alone.
