Hi Trish. I've learnt there's plenty of people here that can understand how you feel and we'd be happy to hear back from you on how you are feeling.

hello Trish, welcome to the site and pleased to hear from you.
There are so many different people who visit this site and plenty of those are people who always respond back to those who are asking for help, plus it's anonymous, so no one knows who you are, but I know that it may seem scary to post your first comment, so please get back to us and just mention something small to get the ball rolling. Hi Trish,

Welcome to the forum and to the community here. It does seem like you are trying to reach out for help but may not know how to or it may just be too overwhelming for you.

As D84 and Geoff have mentioned, there are many people here who will be willing and open to read what you have to write and will try to help you.

Maybe trying to write how you are feeling is hurting you right now, we understand that. So many people here have experienced deep hurts, confusion, a variety of mental health issues and just don't know how to write how they are feeling.

When you are ready and in your won way and time you can share more with us. Even if you just write something brief. Maybe you are overwhelmed with depression, you could write just that. Hopefully after a few short lines you may feel comfortable to write more.

Just popping by to say "HI" and to hope you are feeling a bit better today. Is there something you can share with us that you are thankful for in your life?

Do you have any hobbies or interests? I know it is difficult trying to do things with depression. I find that even accomplishing a small task helps my mood.
