Hi all my name is Evie,
i have been suffering from anxiety and depression on and off for many years now, I am a mother of two and been married for nearly 16 yrs.
I am hoping I can get advise from fellow sufferers and just to have general chit chat with people dealing with the same illness.
Looking forward to hearing from you 😀😀

Hi Evie,
Just popping in to say my welcome to these forums. I can see you already have met some of the people I have found to be rather supportive. While you are here I'm sure you have found the forums on staying well and anxiety and perhaps you might like our community forum which is about building our online friendship and support. Whatever works for you really.
Personally I find anxiety sucks, but with all the little things that help like the garden, and knowing my limits, I deal with it better then before. I hope that you can strengthen those things too.
Anyway, hello, welcome, I'm glad you found us.
Rob.

Hi Evie. Do I take it the sleepover wasn't a raging success. If it was the first one, perhaps the girls might have been a bit suss. Teenage girls tend to be wary when they think adults might be trying to muscle in on their private time. Especially if they feel what they're saying is private, confidential. A late night will also tend to make them say something they might not usually say. My ex SIL had the problem years ago when she found her teenage daughter was 'wagging' school. When she found her and tried to take her home, her car stalled. Embarrassment, to say nothing of the 'silent' treatment. However, her and daughter patched up their differences. My daughter at 13 was the same, I didn't change my attitude, eventually she realised she was overreacting and things went back to normal. At 13 they are suspicious of us 'old's', they think they are wiser. Just be the same loving mum you've always been.
Lynda.

Hi there,
The way I find it is to go to the main page (online forums, under get support, right up the top) and then the community one is down the bottom of the list.
A household of tired kids, I don't envy that, sounds like they had a good night though at least.
Rob.
