Withdrawal from medication or something else?

My anxiety has heightened over the past few weeks so badly that I can't seem to calm it down in any way. I've been off my medication for two months could it be withdrawal ? Symptoms include crying hysterically, headaches, shaking, irritablity, jumpy, racing thoughts, depression the list goes on

Dear Sad ads ares~

Thanks for your post. I guess things are pretty bad at the moment from what you said. Many people here have experience with medication adjustment and withdrawal so you have quite large pool of people to draw upon.

I've had those symptoms, plus more. They came when my PTSD, anxiety, depression was at its height and my medication was ineffective. Things became worse and I went into hospital where my meds were changed and I was isolated from normal life. When I came out I improved and now lead a pretty good life.

While you say you've been off meds for two months you did not say if that was something you did yourself or under supervision. You also don't mention what the basic trouble is, anxiety, depression ...? Are you currently seeing your doctor?

From the sound of your symptoms if it was me I'd be booking a long consultation with your GP and set out all that is happening to you. Soldiering on alone is not a good thing to try - I did it for too long and it made matters much worse in the long term. Outside help is really needed.

Apart from that could you talk more about your situation? Your life, the people in it, if there is anyone with you that understands and can give you support. The more you say the more meaningful a conversation we can have.

You did a pretty sensible thing, posting here. Please post again, you will be met with understanding.
