I too welcome you to the forums.
Petal has given you a supportive reply.

If you type into the search engine anger management yiu can browse through some threads.

I know that planning ahead can help me with my anger management. If I know ahead of time I may get angry or upset I may avoid if possible a situation .

The more you understand your anger the better chance you may have to manage it.

I look forward to continuing this discussion with you, if you want to chat.

Hi Anthony,

I am glad that you want to deal with your anger. Here are a few tips that I use on myself:

1. Deep breath exercises: When I know I am about to make someone feel bad or say something I don't mean I take deep breaths. This helps relieve pressure from my body and calms me down.

2. Thinking before I say something: Once I take those breaths I make sure I think before I say something bad/don't mean. This ensures I don't feel guilty afterwards.

3. Writing down everything that makes me feel mad: Once I write down everything I feel a sense of calmness because I know it is all in my head.

4. Meditation: I personally pray as a meditation strategy that helps relieve any bad temper. If you continue using meditation as a strategy and make it a part of your routine, It will definitely change your mindset.

Hope this helps!
