Hi
I'm not really sure what to get from this post as both myself and my mother have no real options. I currently live alone and bought my new house which I should be excited for in late December last year. But I haven't had 1 day of actually happiness in 6 months due to health complications which keep seeming to go on and on with no answers.
I had major surgery called SOD. Since a week after recovering I developed massive stomach cramps which have continued since then. I've only had 1 week of relief from this. I've had multiple "diagnosis" such as fecal impaction, reaction to a 5 year drug, IBS and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. However nothing has been worked and It's getting to much. Im struggling to work or enjoy life, even living on my own im noticing "I've just had enough". (I've been wearing the same cloths for over a week). I have one last hope this week with a blood test for SIBO. But if that all comes back clean. This is just too much. This cramp and me constantly feeling fatigued is to much. I honestly don't think I Should be driving I'm that fatigued sometimes.
What options do I honestly have anymore?

Dear Barnzey87~
Welcome back to the Forum, I'm sorry it is under such circumstances. For someone with constant abdominal pain all the usual chores and tasks one does can seem just about impossible.
This is bad not only becuse they are not done, but also because one tends to blame oneself - not the actual pain that is the real reason. Is there anyway you can get support around the house to do some of these things?
it seems a very long time ago since you came here because you were in pain, and at that stage IBS was mentioned. Ms Purple did give some suggestions on how to lessen the effects of IBS however unfortunately the pain has persisted.
I am no doctor and have no qualifications to speak, all I can say is having had a gall bladder operation in the past you have another operation (SOD) in roughly the same area and shortly after the pain markedly increases I'd have to wonder if that operation was in some way the cause.
I do know that as I have pain in another area I've been to a pain clinic and that has considerably helped the symptom, if not the cause, I wonder if there is one near you.
I hope your latest test is helpful

Thanks for the reply Croix
I'm able to get most things completed but I have to force myself or it gets delayed quite a bit.
Im just assuming its IBS as its what most doctors seem to think it is. But as someone whose had it since I was 18 this is on a completely new level.
To be honest I don't know what this could be besides IBS however, everything that I know isn't helping and when its keeping me up at night and making me feel ill and destroying my quality of life. Im just so tired of it.
The test came back clean. So back to IBS.

Dear Barnzey87~
Well I'm sorry the latest test came back negative, most discouraging. Mind you as far as I now severe IBS can caused one to feel down and discouraged anyway. Your life is not a pleasant one, and I rather admire the fact you do get your chores done, despite everything else.
There are only two things that come to the layman's mind, treat the pain with specialist medications to do with bowel pain, and see a dietitian in case what you regularly eat may have a bearing on the pain.
I used to and still have stomach cramps and diarrhea caused by stress, and one particular medication is very effective.
