Hello Everybody 🙂
Being human we all miss something..This is not a negative/serious thread.Just a post for reflection. Whether 1, 2 , 3 or more please share 🙂
Its always healthy to have a little vent 🙂
I miss.....
- Companionship/Holding Hands
- Using my Tasmanian Blackwood dining table for a family lunch/dinner....its been over 10 years
- Disco/12" Extended Vinyl Mixes and playing them
- My Parents when they were happy together
- My years when Depression/Anxiety didn't exist
- My Childhood
Even if you have just one part of your life you miss...please feel free to share...whether its humorous or serious is fine 🙂
Kind thoughts

I miss -
Abby, our blessed little angel puppy
my Nanna & my holidays with her
my middle daughter (she's decided I'm a toxic person)
a career I could have had if I had been free of depression
higher education (same reason as above)
motivation & energy (destroyed by depression)
I'm sure I could go on & on but it's a bit depressing lol !!!

Hey Starwolf and thankyou..Can I quote you? "The older we get, the longer the list" That is so very true. You have ridden sidecar??? You adrenaline junkie:-) Your spine stronger than mine....yes really! I hope your old dogs are in doggy heaven keeping mine company. 'Old Dogs Children & Watermelon Wine'...Tom T Hall. Nice1 Star. Hi Music_Freak and thanks for responding. I know these are only words but I am sorry about your mum. It would have been like 10 minutes ago (2007) When I read your post I felt like I was reading my own. The absent smiles and friends disappearing too. We are both music freaks though. Here for you big time Musicfreak. You have a lot to offer and I really look forward seeing you again 🙂 Paul

It's funny you know, I've heard the "you have a lot to offer" from many people before...I've just got nothing to show for it. No friends, no job etc...doesn't help the demons in my head, that's for sure. I guess it's everyone else's loss or something.
My favourite bands keep me going some days. They are more than just bands to me, esp. lately.
I'll try and stick around, as long as the above demons stay quiet, or I can ignore them

Interesting post Paul.
Hmm, what I miss...
- Georgie the German Sheppard
- the lack of fear in doing extreme outdoor sports like skiing, now I know my body doesn't always bounce back!
- a body that bounces back and recovers from everything 🙂
- my confidence that i have in good times
- really good close friends that you can drop in on any time
- being in a relationship and feeling that i need not face life alone and being able to share so many moments
- living next to the beach (I grew up near the beach in Tassie)
🙂

Hi Paul,
1. I'm missing my friends, I just feel like I have no one to turn to. My girlfriends live a few hours away and I don't want to ring them with my problems
2. I'm missing the person I was before I got anxiety/depression.
3. I'm missing the fun I had in my marriage
4. I'm missing my old stag hound and Siamese cat.
🙁
