I am curious as to what you do for yourself, to give love back to yourself and heal?
I'm continuously trying variations such as meditation, yoga and sound healing ! (they are all very healing)
Manifesting out loud, giving thanks to myself and to be alive.
Recently I went to church for the first time as well, I've never been to church in my life nor come from a faithful background;
there's a lack of connection within society which makes us feel isolated.
I'm always wanting to hear/understand peoples journeys what's yours? What have you found helps you?
Much Love Kyra

Hi Kyra,
It might sound silly but something Dr Phil once said has really helped me. I used to be very self critical, lots of negative self talk and when he was counselling someone with the same issues he asked her 'would you let someone talk to your best friend that way?'
Of course not. If you learn to treat yourself like your own best friend the negative self talk eventually loses its power.
I've also learned to place less importance on what other people think. I used to be such a people pleaser and it was crippling me trying to make everyone else happy without ever asking myself what made ME happy. Now that I've started doing that I have a lot more self respect, and that's ultimately led me to making some decisions that are right for me.
I may not 'love' myself all the time, everyone has bad days. But I do accept myself and appreciate all my good qualities. I know I'm a good mother, friend, partner, colleague and a good person who cares about social issues. I'm happy to know myself now, and know my own mind.
Hope this helps
