Some days it is really hard to find anything to be thankful for when we feel overcome by the darkness and fog of depression. If I look hard enough, I can find something to be thankful for.
I would like to encourage others to write down three things they are thankful for, and to realise there is a sense of hope available to us all. Sometimes it is just a little hard to find!
So my three things for today are:
1: The lovely singing of birds in the morning as they welcome in the new day
2: The ability to read and write
3: A lovely hot shower.
Wishing all the "family" in BB Land a day full of noticing the nice things in life. Kind regards to you all, from Dools.

i'm thankful i bought a bag of organic lollypops this week,to come home and have this treat has made me feel better
im thankful for having an easier lockdown this time round
i'm thankful i had an additional gp appointment, with psychiatrist on leave. I miss the psychiatrist a bit, got used to my sessions, so this helps keep the momentum

Today I am grateful for:
1) The sun! I was able to sit outside and have a nice picnic in the backyard with my partner. I felt like a little sunflower soaking up the nice weather.
2) That I have very supportive uni friends! I wasn't feeling like I could attend tonight's zoom class and without hesitation they told me they would update me if there was anything important
3) For my family, partner, dog and friends

Today, I am thankful for:
-snuggles with my dog (how amazing is doggy unconditional love)
-the cool, crunchy apple I ate before that I grabbed out of the fridge (it was so amazingly tasty, you forget how juicy a cold apple can be)
-silence (having a day where all I need is quiet)

surviving a tough day
