Hi everyone..
Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...
Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..
My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...
Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..
Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..
Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...
My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

Thank you Sleepy...today I didn’t even wake up until 2pm...my poor fur babies were sitting next to me looking at me..probably willingly me to wake up..
Quirky...I need to see a dentist but haven’t worked up my courage to do so...I think you are very brave for not running away...I often have to leave the waiting room and wait outside....Well done to you Quirky...
ypla...I think that was brave of you to do that..not knowing what the person in the cars reaction would have been...and true, you very well could have prevented an accident..Well done...
Awe Tayla....Please don’t call yourself stupid...It really isn’t good for your mental health or you..to down yourself sweetheart....We all forget things at one time or another....We are only human...Please be very gentle on yourself Tayla...and remember to only feed your soul with positives about yourself....
Love and hugs everyone....
Grandy..

Hello everyone...
Tayla....I really am so sorry you feel that way about yourself.
Just adding a small list of some of the things that you might have achieved today...without even knowing it..
They could be..
1...getting out of bed..
2....made your bed,,
3 ...got dressed
4...,had breakfast..
5...brushed your teeth and hair..
6....Supported some people here on the forums...( huge) achievement when your not feeling the best...Well done..
The above list are very easy for people to do every day who don’t struggle with mental health.....For us struggling with mental health these easy everyday things can feel like we are climbing the highest mountains just to achieve them....
Dear Tayla...If you have achieved only one of those things on the little list today...you have done an amazing job by doing it or them....and well done to you..💜🤗..
Love and hugs dear Tayla...
Grandy...

hey tayla getting a psychologist counts enormously
you could even break it down as this is a small achievements thread...
so it could be - called to make an appointment , logged in to zoom to see psychologist, raised a concern with psychologist.... 🙂 little achievements are powerful!

i called the Triage - which is good practise for me being assertive
and i put my clothes in my car to take to the laundromat
I didn't actually go to the laundromat, but small steps.
I actually enjoy the laundromat lol 🙂 just not the traffic to get there and finding a parking spot nearby so i don't have to lug too much stuff too far

washed my clothes at laudromat, and hung out to dry!
Had them in my car ready to go
Left some behind that I forgot to include, but decided some is better than none. had hardly been washing my clothes at all during covid... scared of the laundromats and lived in PJs
here we go with some clean things now 🙂
