Hi everyone..

Their are days when just getting out of bed is a huge achievement...Other days we can achieve things like washing up the dishes or clothes, sweeping the floors, mopping the floors..very mundane and automatic robot like chores for the mentally well...They do these chores without even thinking about them...for people struggling with their mental health..these are huge tasks...

Very often I’ll get my vacuum cleaner out to vacuum ...then it will sit their for days, me looking at it, walking over it...until I can get motivated enough to vacuum..after I do find the motivation to vacuum...I am pleased with myself...
Right now I have a small foot cycling peddle machine, sitting on my front veranda..I got it out last week..to start exercising..it’s still their, I’m still looking at it...My thoughts each night is I’ll use it for a few minutes tomorrow..

My car hasn’t been washed getting close to a year now I think...Today I did managed to wash it....and discovered that it has a nice shine on it.....I did it...I achieved something positive today..which made me feel better in myself...

Have you achieved a little something today...and how did it make you feel...If you want to share that achievement it might make other people a bit more motivated to achieve something they need/want to do..

Looking forward to hearing about your achievement....and how it made you feel..

Little steps and achievements can lead to bigger steps..and bigger achievements...

My kindest and most caring thoughts...everyone.
Grandy...

I refrained from saying something unhelpful.

i also did a load of washing even though I was tired

Quirky, it takes a lot of energy to do both of those, well done.

I ticked a few important things off my to-do list today, which felt nice.

Hello everyone…🤗..

I did a rather big achievement yesterday….I rearranged my lounge room….only the bookcase a set of drawers and a coffee table…I like the new look….In saying that I have a huge mess to clean up today (well maybe today)….from unwanted things I just put any and everywhere yesterday…😂😂….

Does that happen to anyone else?     clean up one area only to make another area untidy and messy….to make the area your cleaning clean…hmm does that even make any sense?..

Enjoy your day today, the best you can..

Love, hugs and care everyone…🩷🤗 🦋..

Hello Everyone,

Grandy, I do know what you mean about cleaning up one area and making another one messy 😂 I have a place under the stairs where random things get shoved. I've moved some things from one room to another so the room I'm actually using most looks and feels better to be in. But that doesn't solve the mess in the other room 🤔

Today my small achievement was a bit of weeding at the front. I certainly didn't get out every weed but at least the bigger ones. I also noticed that my rose bushes have really bushed out nicely. Until I lived here I'd never looked after rose bushes before. I watched a segment on Gardening Australia on pruning roses to guide me and I think I did an ok job as they are looking nice now. Some lovely roses are blooming too 🌹

It was good to be out in the fresh air even though I find gardening quite tiring at times. I always feel better for having done it.

Hugs 🤗

Grandy

I took 7 large boxes of books to the garage then was told  needed to clean up garage oh well!!

I get distracted so easily, clean a small space then unpack bags then do something else .
