Self care for people with demanding schedules/busy lives

Hi all,

I thought that it might be helpful to have a thread to share self care strategies especially for those of us who often feel time-poor with demanding schedules/busy lives.

I understand everyone is different, and like most things in life, self care also needs to be individualised to suit each of our individual needs, interests, personalities and lifestyles.

I’ll be back later to contribute my own ideas...

Please feel free to share your own self care strategies and suggestions 🙂

Kind thoughts,

Pepper

Hi lovely people,

A warm & grateful thank you for your presence here. Reading along &/or contributing is both welcome 🙂

Phoebe: wow, what a powerful & moving post. I’m actually feeling a little at a a loss for words...I think you’ve said it all 🙂

I loved what you said about integrating the hurt you with the “okay” you. Very wise...I’m still learning to navigate that process...

The part where you said we sometimes “spilt” due to harrowing experiences or trauma really moved me. I can relate to that. Even if our experiences aren’t the same, I’ve felt that “split” before and I’m still working out how to piece myself back together...it’s a process...

I had to physically put a hand to my heart after I finished reading your post, as I felt so profoundly moved. I mean that in a nice way 🙂 Your words were that powerful and really resonated with me.

Thank you for your wisdom.

I benefited from your words, and I imagine many others did too 🙂

Kindness and care to all.

Pepper

Hi Pepper,

My deep appreciation and thanks to you - it’s incredibly comforting to share with others who ‘get it’ isn’t it?

I’ve been thinking over the past few days how this forum which houses the thoughts and care of so many wonderful folk, is helping me so, so much.

Thank you to everyone.

Phoebe.
