Hi Everyone.
I am just going to put this title out there and see what happens. Later on I will try to add old thread titles relating to this issue.
People may have wonderful weight loss stories to share, ideas on exercises that are beneficial, reducing binge eating tips etc.
Healthy recipes will also be welcome. Maybe even healthy foods you enjoy but your family consider to be rabbit food! Ha. Ha.
Unfortunately for depression sometimes means binge eating and comfort foods. A carrot just is not comfort food to my brain! I need to find ways to rechannel that way of thinking!
All ideas and thoughts are welcome here!
Cheers for now from Mrs. Dools

Hi all,
Well, I am taking a 1 week break from liteneasy. I continue to have an upset tummy which I think is caused by the new ADs but I want to make sure it's not the liteneasy food. I intend to still eat healthy during the week but maybe less spicy choices and will see how I go.

Hi Carol, I hope your stomach does settle down. It is sometimes difficult to know if it is m4edication or a change of food causing the problem!
Hi Julie, your stomach pains may be anxiety or could be due to eating food not suitable to you. Like I mentioned to Carol, it is difficult to find out what really is causing the trouble.
For me I know that too much gluten upsets my stomach. For my husband it is dairy products, especially milk.
It is not always easy to afford the cost or time to have tests done to see what the problem is.
Hope both of you have more settled digestion!

Hi all,
Well my tummy is still a bit troubled but organising my own food gives me flexibility.
I have a lot of liteneasy dinners if needed but I am eating with the family where hubby has bought steak or salmon etc. I avoid nights where he has processed meats that the kids love.
I am using myfitnesspal the free internet application to log all the food I eat. It counts my calories to keep under 1200 a day and it sends me reminders to log my food.
I am now down to 95.4kg which is a loss of 2.8kg. Yay me! Slow but steady.
Hope everyone else is on track with their goals.

Hi Carol,
My healthy eating plan has flown out the window this week. I do realise a lot of that is due to my stress levels rising again now I have needed to return to work.
I've had a few appointments this week as well, so I have not had as much down time.
One appointment went dreadfully. I ended up walking out as I was getting so stressed I felt like I was about to have a panic attack if I had stayed there a moment longer.
Two more appointments and work today. I took some salad and a banana with me today, so at least I had something healthy to eat.
The chocolate chaser was not too good though!
I will try again tomorrow to limit the not so healthy foods!
Cheers all from Mrs. Dools

Hi Mrs Dools,
I had just read your story on Narelle/Music's thread. A horrid week indeed!
I felt like giving you a big hug, so I'll leave it here for you.
I completely understand the choc chaser. It is the first thing I normally turn to when I feel stressed or unwell. When I first got really down hubby turned up home with a literal shopping bag full of chocolate haha. I have had to break his habit of buying it for me, it's his way of "making me better".
Though he does get frustrated when I want some and we have none. He says, you told me not to buy any????? Haha.
I'm having 4 cruskits with 1/2 avocado and 4 slices of ham at lunch, pretty good with calories and enough to keep me going until dinner. I think all the chewing to eat them helps too.
I hope tomorrow is stress free for you Mrs.D. you deserve a break.

Hey Emmy,
Terrific! Full of flavour isn't it. I have had a few bad food days I think. Mainly because I didn't check them, I just ate what hubby gave me. Hopefully I will feel better soon and get back on track.
Well done Emmy! You have some really positive changes happening.

I just bought 2 bags of Doritos from the shops...whoopsie....
I shouldn't have, but I did. Considering I haven't even been walking, I'm going to expand greatly!
I'll probably knuckle down and focus on this weight loss thing, when I feel more able to focus on it (I feel rather frazzled with everything at the moment and dieting basically got ignored)

Hi Narelle,
I can understand that. I have just come out of a horrid week or so where my diet went out the window.
I am back on track now. Weight is 94.6 now so I still lost another 800g. Full steam ahead, using myfitnesspal still to track calories to stay under 1200 a day.
