COVIDSafe App and the Benefits

Hi Everyone

I had difficulty finding the Official CovidSafe app on Monday and eventually found it.... Of course its up to the individual if they wish to download the app or not..I have posted the link below which also includes the relevant information/benefits of the app. Over 3 million downloads since Monday

any input/thoughts are welcome on the app too 🙂

Thankyou for posting this. I really didn’t think this app would be embraced as much as it has been over such a short period- it shows how people have worried about Covid-19.

Hi Paul i down loaded it yesterday and it wasnt as easy as i thought to find the right app at first.I had to get it off my cousin who is a police officer and got the right one.I wanted to have it on my phone for Friday when i have to go to the hospital.

The app will help where tracing Covid is concerned which help our health authorities help us

Example....If I go shopping and a person with Covid spreads the virus to one or more people in the store..I will be contacted for testing as the app works off Bluetooth connectivity with any people in that vicinity that have the app installed on their phone

This can save lives and assists minimising any new clusters from gaining momentum

Of course its up to the individual whether if they wish to download the app. This discussion does not involve any political or privacy issues 🙂

I gave my phone to my teenagers and asked them to download it on the day it was released lol.

I watched the discussions closely (and every other Govt announcement too) and felt fine about it.

I want to help where I can to catch this thing and have it disappear here. This app only helps in tracing if someone is tested positively who has the app and only contacts others who have the app if they have spent time in the vicinity of that person.

It'll be interesting to see whether the Govt releases data on the app tracing. The graphs I saw have quite intrigued me so far.

EM
