Questioning my sexuality

I'm a 16 year old girl and i've always been pretty boy crazy and I still am but i've always had deep down a part of me that has some attraction to some girls. Its really scary to me as I know being bi isn't a bad thing but its also a brand new territory that i've always kept in the back of my head for a very long time. I still don't know if i'm bi but it's definitely a thought. I told my friend today as he is part of the lgbtq and I felt good telling him but now that I say it aloud it feels weird and my head feels very foggy. I guess I just wanted to say it out loud

Hello A.luc

Congratulations to you to saying it out loud, and to acknowledging how you are feeling about the same sex. You are most certainly right, it is totally fine but I also get that we are still, in 2020, learning to accept others that are not heterosexual. We will get there, we have made some really great progress in this space, of accepting, of not making those in the LGTQB+ community feel anything but accepted, "normal" if you like. This is our new normal, that people are just that, people, that who cares if you are Bi, Gay, Lesbian, Trans and why does one's sexuality create a judgement or assumption about that person.

Well done to you, you go and be the best version of you, kindness, caring, looking after another, showing love are much more important in life than one's sexuality..but I know you know this.

Hugs to you

Sarah
