Needing to talk to someone

Hi, im 36 and I think I’ve just realised that I’m bisexual, I’m feeling confused and overwhelmed with thoughts, such as things I’ve thought of in the past that now make sense, and that I’m physically attracted to women, and I think I’m looking to connect with someone who understands and can help me through this, as it is very new to me.

Hi Elle

It has taken you a while to either realise you are attracted to both sexes or it has taken you a while to have the courage to admit it and decide that you need to be happy and therefore reach out. Our society is very open now and I don't feel that you would have an issue if you went out and explored your preferences. Just please do it carefully, pick honest people and stay away from those who get your hackles up.

Hi Elle84

Thank you for sharing your story, it can be a daunting thing to do on your first post! It's great to hear you are wanting to connect to accepting, likeminded people and welcoming spaces. You can always use this thread to create conversation or join a local queer group run by your local council for further support and further engagement. It really depends on what you are after- there is thankfully so much out there!

Let us know how you keep travelling,
