Hi Mikky and welcome to the BB Forums.
I gather from your post that you are reluctant to go into specifics of your recent trauma. Thats okay, you dont need to say anything unless you chose to. I do point out thought, that the Forums are moderated to ensure our safety, security and anonymity at all times. So if/when you feel you want to, you are safe to tell us more. We, your fellow members, are all like you in that we each suffer some form of mental illness. So we understand at least some of what you are going through, and want to support you as best we can.
Like you, I have PTSD and everything that comes with that (eg Anxiety, Depression as well as OCD). I do not have bi-polar however, so am very much in the dark around that, and cannot advise.
From your post I gather that you already suffer from PTSD. And that these recent traumatic events have come in on top of your existing trauma. Is that correct? I say that because you cant technically be diagnosed with PTSD until at least 12 months post trauma. And it sounds like your recent traumas is very recent. I will point out that with trauma, it is very typical and normal for people to suffer PTSD-like symptoms for several months after the event. But trauma symptoms need not develop into PTSD.
Irrespective of whether you already have PTSD, it is important that you seek professional assistance to help you with your trauma symptoms. This will help you identify and process your thoughts around what has occurred, and hopefully either stave off PTSD in the future, or prevent your existing PTSD symptoms from becoming considerably worse.
When it comes to additional trauma on top of existing PTSD, I can totally relate to you on that. My initial trauma which resulted in PTSD was many years ago, however I have had a number of more recent traumas over the past 2 years which have added to my distress and have caused my PTSD to spike once again.
I would firstly urge you to see your GP if you havent already. They will be able to help you in the first instance. They will likely suggest you see a psych, and may put you on a mental health care plan. If you are not already on medication, that is also an option. Even just for the short term to get you over the worst of this trauma. CBT is one of the tried and trusted methods used to treat PTSD, which is an Anxiety disorder first and foremost. Others are Exposure Therapy and EMDR. Ask your GP or psych about these.
Please post again.
