Hey Will

You can chat here to me and you can tell me about your days in the office if you like, or about anything at all really, I am here to chat and to give you some support.

I forgot you may not have known who Jane Bunn was but she paused alot between points when she talks and my son thinks it is hilarious to call me that when I type messages...kids!!!

I can quite easily have 10 coffees..suppose that is pretty bad really, but there is no milk or sugar..is that still bad????

In other news I am off to Canberra this weekend to see Werq the World, Ru Pauls drag race show..I am very excited....you may have to look that up too...lol

Hi,

looked it up . Werq the World all the way to the ACT. why, lol.

working in an office i used to do 10 hours or so ,on top of working from home after hours and weekends. i used to love it. that was finished in 2010 due to centralizing the finance departments . I was tired by then and took redundancy rather than staying and travel an extra 2 hours each day.

Since then i did temp/contracting work. 6 years ago i found this gig were you can work from home (mainly July to November), and little bit of work during December to June with the same company. (Not much money as working full time, debi had to go back to work )So really i have not had an office job for 10 years and cannot see myself doing that again. This year they stopped December to June (trailing offshore lol), another factor why in October last year everything started to go down hill MH wise.

i wish you can go in depth , but you can't according to community rules. so i'm keeping as brief as possible.

William

Haha, we are going to the ACT as one of the people who we are going with is away for a work conference while the show is in Melb...so we decided to take a road trip, even though we are flying!! It will be super fun and I cant wait.

What did you want to go into more detail about that you feel like you are breaking the rules?

That is really good that you can work from home, I never thought I would be much good at working from home as I would get too distracted with house work or putting dinner on or getting the kids...I just would not be very productive I dont think.

It does seem that the work side of things really has impacted your mental health. Is there something you can do from home do you think that might help with both getting you back into work as well as bringing in a few dollars? I am not sure what but I might have a look online and see what sort of things are around. I am sure you have done this too.

Hi,

with regards to breaking the rules? i'm just careful not to mention names, company names, my occupation etc... per what i read from community rules. (anything that my ID myself). Although i don't really care.

William

Hey Will

I get that with the Company names and the likes, that is probably not helpful in your healing anyway so probably not required, but you can say about your roles and the work that you did, if that is helpful to talk about that sort of thing??

Are you on cooking duty tonight? I am not with my kids tonight so dinner this week will be very easy and probably consist of toast...lol..however in saying that I am finding i am alot more hungry so toast doesn't usually cut it. I am about to head off and have some lunch, some rice and corn and avo and tomato, yumm just loving the vegan life. I am happy though that Drumstick have bought out a vegan range and they are amazing..yum....

You will be pleased to know I still have not mowed the lawn...lol...I am so over it and really dreading it, I am going to have to attack it one night this week, it is wet here today, thank goodness so that means that I don't have to do it today..are those boys of yours still available...lol

Hi,

Another day, wondering how it will go.

Deb is coming home early , shes not well!.

I have a doctors appointment (family doctor ) at 11.30. Need to check blood pressure and get few scripts. (i'm on so many )

Usually that means 1.30. He's always running late, i hate going there (that's were i had the fainting episode whilst waiting which started the downhill slide). i usually ring to see how late he is and wait at home and ring every 1/2 hour..

Other than that (besides doing the kitchen for an hour as usual) , not much on.

Deb can cook tonight. how was your toast last night ? we had steak, salad, sweet potato chips and corn fritters.(don't be jealous i only had the corn fritters myself)..

chat soon

William

Hey Will

Yes that is very frustrating with the doctors, mine is the same and it drives me insane...an appointment is an appointment..how do they get sooo far behind..I get it people need to have longer appointments but book one!!

Rant over...

I ended up having some pasta last night so the gourmet roasted bread with condiments (peanut butter on toast) can perhaps be tonight...your dinner sounds super yummy, I love sweet potato chips....yum and the corn fritters sound yummy also.

Poor Debi I hope she is ok, you should cook for her tonight so she doesn't have to worry about that if she is not feeling well, I have a great recipe that I can share..it is called ..roasted bread with condiments...lol

I had a flat battery this morning and had to call the RACV, wasn't that a great start to the day, but I am having my oat chai latte now so everything is good in the world...

Try not to think about the fainting episode and perhaps focus on some of the pamphlets while you are waiting, take in the TV and what is playing in the waiting room or if they have the radio on. Even focus on the receptionists and listen to what they are chatting about. Give yourself some good distractions to take your mind off the fainting, you could do solitaire on your phone..or chat here to me.

Hope all goes well at the appointment Will...am here if you need.

Hi Sarah,

Survived doctors OK. thank you for your tips. Debi came along and saw the doctor herself. we also went to the shop for some groceries , i survived that as well.

I had a small panic attack when we got back. Bizarre as i had it after the tension of going to the doctors is gone and i was back home. cannot explain this one?

Back home , Deb is laying down. trying to be quite just in case she falls asleep.

Banana and muesli bar for lunch, what strange things did you have ?

thanks again for caring and support .

William

Hi Will

That is great news that you got through the doctors appointment and a trip to the shops as well, good on you that is awesome. Little things sometimes really help and sometimes they are so blindingly obvious but you dont see them. You may have even had a panic attack at the thought of "nothing happening" at the doctors, sometimes these things happen as a result of one not happening..if that makes any sense..

I had a delightful lunch of rice and corn and some baby qukes.....jealous....lol banana and muesli sounds good tho....

That is great that Debi is lying down, hopefully she can rest and will feel better soon.

Happy to be here to support you Will, I have no idea how hard this is for you but you give me strength too in seeing your determination and your efforts you make in getting through each day, it is actually me who should be thanking you.
