Hi jill,
thank you for the update. I’m happy the visit went well and you’re working through the anxiety with them. I started this recently and it’s been an amazing help for me. Im proud of you.
Mum sorry about the nausea. I hate that overwhelming feeling. I have trouble at times with it too and have found a wonderful drug that helps me enormously with nausea. It is expensive and tastes gross for a couple of minutes but I will take that over the nausea any day. Maybe speak with gp about it.
Take care and thinking of you

Yep but can also be in a tablet form too. I got very sick a few years ago and I am allergic to a number of anti-nausea medications but this one saved me

Many years years ago I had that dry retching in the morning and not so much these days. It really sucked/sucks. But don't ask me what it was that stopped it. I think for me part of it is related to reflux. I am hopeful your psychologist will be able to help you, but I also think that patience is needed when they tell us new ways of looking after ourselves as some may not happen instantly.
Mitch,
Good luck with your appointment on Thu. Hope it work out well for you. Also note there are threads on the forum to help you deal with worry and negative thoughts. If you are interested I can post links for you. And as a real distraction, the Cafe spot with random chatter is worth checking 🙂
Peace to you both,
Tim

Hi Mitchy,
The links are...

The can be a little hard to find, but if you are doing a google search, just search for
term-of-interest beyond blue
for example:
mindfulness beyond blue
and generally one of the results on the first page is what you are after.
