Walking on eggshells.

So this is my first time on an online forum so bare with me.
I am currently in recovery of a 2 1/2 year period of depression and anxiety which in the last year induced psychosis. I am finally starting to feel better and more confident with the things that I do and am about to start a college course (I'm 17) and am trying to get a job and all that jazz, but I have this constant feeling of walking on eggshells. I'm absolutely terrified of relapsing, after stressful days I still have that craving to self-harm and on really bad days it is becoming very difficult to resist.
I am really hesitant to tell my mum because I don't want to cause anymore damage to my family (this year with the psychosis has been really damaging to my relationship with my family and friends). I would talk to her about returning to therapy but I have really big trust issues with the facility I was getting treatment at after they misdiagnosed my condition for over a year.
So my real question is does anyone have any tips or ideas on how to stop this eggshell feeling, as well as ideas on keeping the self-harm thoughts at bay? I've tried music and distractions but lately there not working as well.

Hi Franny,
i just noticed that no one has responded to you yet. This is also my first time on an online forum too.
The only advice I can give you re: not liking the facility, is are you able to see your gp and request a referral to someone else? It's really important that you talk to someone who is qualified, maybe the help line or something. I have just been through a major depressive episode, and I missed all the warning signs, or didn't act on them, and am totally regretting it after completely losing my shit.
I hope you find someone you can confide in.
please let me know how you go.

Hey Gingerninja,
I've had several referrals from my GP to different facilities and none of them have been the right fit, so I don't have many options available. But the helpline's a good idea.
I hope your doing better.
Thanks,
Franny

Hi Franny,
i did also want say, that for a 17yo you have shown tremendous courage posting on here.
Keep looking for help, maybe someone here will be able to help you with better advice.
Additionally, if you do want to self harm and the urge gets too much, please please call a helpline or get to a hospital or 24hr clinic... The fall out of SH can be even harder to deal with, as I am sure you know.
