Hi Ceege
Firstly, I just wanted to say that I hear you, and I appreciate you reaching out for help and a bit guidance here- the forums are a great place for that. Not having your feelings and experiences validated can be really disheartening, especially from medical professionals of all people.
Please know that your struggle is valid and you deserve help: perhaps seeking some structured help from a kinder resource could empower you- we can point you in the direction of some caring, non-judgemental resources if you like. It can be a daunting process especially when there is distrust and trauma there, so we could navigate it together if you like as we know it may be a delicate process. Let us know, we are here.
Sending kindness and understanding your way, and stay safe,
Tay100

We are so sorry to hear what you've been going through and how difficult it has been for you to find support. We can hear how disheartening this must be, but please know that you've come to a safe space and our community is here to offer you as much support and conversation as you need. We'd also really encourage you to reach out to our Beyond Blue Support Service, which is available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 or on Webchat 3pm-12am AEST on our website: www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport. One of our friendly counsellors will be able to talk things through and assist you in finding some helpful supports. You are not alone in this, and we hope that you keep us updated on how you're going whenever you feel ready.

Hi Ceege,
I'm so sorry to hear that you are still sitting in a tough space. Could you ask the psychologist that got back to you about some other short term coping strategies that can help you manage how you feel on a day to day basis? I also recommend following Sophie_M's suggestions to help manage things overall, given your anxiety about the hospital- you also aren't alone in your apprehension about approaching them, it's a common and valid feeling. Keep us posted with what you do, and on the local Health District complaint as well.
Sending hugs,
Tay100.

We are so sorry to hear about what you are going through at the moment. We are currently trying to get in contact with you to offer some additional support as we are concerned for your wellbeing.
Please remember that if at any point you are feeling unsafe, call 000 (triple zero). We hear you that this has not been helpful in the past and we understand that this might be disheartening - however, we would encourage our community to try not to be discouraged by negative experiences when seeking help. You might find that you get a different police officer. It's important to contact emergency services in an emergency.
It is true that our Support Service may have found your case too complex for telephone counselling. However, we would encourage you to get in contact with them to ask for a referral for an organisation that would be appropriate for a case of your complexity. They are available 24/7 on 1300 22 4636.
If you would like to post further, please tell us more about what's on your mind and how we can best help support you.
