I think mentally I have gone backwards in the last month. But happy to say despite waking feeling crappy , could be anxiety or just a bad period of stress not sure yet but I got up at my kinda normal time and went for a run when really the option of bed was very tempting.

Good on you for getting up to go for that run, and I'm really glad you've posted here to say that it was a little victory.

It's great to celebrate each success we have in what can often be a long and difficult day.

How did you feel after the run?

I sort of know what you mean by not wanting to do anything. I get that myself sometimes. I have found that after about 15min of starting that something that I can feel a bit better. Doing that something can be a good distraction than thinking about how bad everything is - well, that is the way I look at it.

Thanks Ggrand, I'm glad to hear it has or might inspire others. Just gotta keep up the exercise. Listening to music with the blinds open is a good one for the morning when you feel crap in the morning.

That's true about the 15 minutes probably some inspirational quote I've heard is ' Action sparks motivation'.
