As i live in an isolated regional area with all the cold weather with my depression i am finding life very hard at the moment. I am not new to BB but have not posted for some months but find myself needed help as I am sliding into a dark place which i seem to carry with me…
With not that much support available in my area at night i decided to reactivate contact on these forums as it was helpful then so why not now. STS

It is nice having a little chat with you Wayne. I am going to bed now. So good night to you. Can you say hello to Lucy for me and give her a pat from me? She most likely will not remember me though.
Hope you feel less stressed now.
nite ...

Dear Wayne,
I am really happy that you have returned to BB and that you find it helpful for you and perhaps not quite so depressing as the MS site that you also use.
Its probably a good decision to remain in your local area where you have family friends and a well established medical team around you. Certainly last I heard you were planning on selling the farm and moving to the Gold Coast to be near your son. But you may well have found that to be quite isolating, which is not what you need.
As for Temora, its a lovely town. I know it and also have an old friend who is from there originally, although he now lives in the ACT.
Gosh you did so well to get the house all built like you did. A major effort for anyone. I hope all those stud sheep or yours have gone to good homes? All very sad selling up of course, after so much time effort and planning goes into blood lines and development of the breed. But at least you know you have done extremely well and that hopefully someone else will now carry on your wonderful work.
Your Lucy sounds like my Holly. She also holds my gaze, steady as a rock. Gee I missed her these past 2 weeks while I was away. Quite the homecoming today when I went to pick her up from the lady who looks after her whenever we have to go away. She's all tuckered out now and is asleep on the lounge all burrowed under her favourite little tiger coloured blanket.
So now its a matter of finding a new home in town? I know you like the country farm life, but I guess with the need for medical assistance, it makes a whole lot of sense to be in town. I hope you are able to find something that offers a bit of quiet but also all the required conveniences of living in town. Will your son and his family be able to visit you fairly often do you think?
Really sorry that life is such a struggle for you right at the moment and that stresses around farm sale and house moving are so high. Just know that all the efforts you've made over the past 6 months or more will soon bear fruit, and that things will settle down.
I'm so glad you have little Lucy, and I totally understand what she means to you. Sending you a big reassuring hug, Lucy a scratch under that hairy chin of hers, and hope to talk again soon.
Sherie xx
