Dear all
Thanx for your posts.
I don’t know at all – I think it can be a fine line as well – with so many things.
Whether you’re here or you’re not. Whether it’s sunshine, whether it’s cloudy or whether it’s just a miserable cold foggy morning.
You leave you animals and dog at home and off you go to work. You spend whatever hours you have to at that place. Then you head back to your “home”.
Where you live. Where the food is, where the plates are. The dishes, the ever constant dishes that just build up – almost like magic. How can there be that many dirty dishes in one day? The TV’s are there, the computer is there. The clothes are there – we have to be here. We have to.
We have heaters to keep us warm in winter.
Our bodies are all different – everyone is different. Just look at your fingerprints to reveal that.
Some of us like tea, some like coffee, some like water – some like spicy food – some enjoy jazz music, others enjoy western or heavy metal.
With every choice in your life, you are creating a path – a path that you have to travel on.
So I guess when you don’t want to exist, you just don’t make any decisions. Therefore, does the path stop? Or do you stop? I think the path is always there – and maybe you are on a travelator, that moves you along.
Just while you sit with your head in your hands – but what are you contemplating?
I don’t know.
Neil
ps: my DOG days are counting up - and you know, I somehow feel better for doing that - my stomach was just getting way out of control - I had to do something. Maybe it's not drinking that is causing me to be so terribly down. I don't know. I don't think so. I think it's other things.

Hi Maresy;
Still very body sore in different areas – so that’s definitely not good, but what can I do about it now – I’ve tried to sort it out, but nup, still not flash.
And I’m so so tired. Can barely keep my eyes open – I think I’m just worn out and my body is breaking down – a bit like our home in these wild winds that we’re experiencing, but that’s another story for another day.
Maresy, we’re off to the western side of Canada; staying in: Calgary, Edmonton, in the rockies in Jasper & then Banff, then onto Kelowna, and then Vancouver. After a spell in Vancouver, we jump on board a ship and we have 1 week cruise, up to and back from Alaska.

dear Neil, my dear friend, sorry but I forgotten when 'BON VOYAGE is and please we have had so many good people who go away saying that they will return, but unfortunately we never hear from them again, however I believe that you will, because the following you have on this site is enormous and so many of us trust in you 100%, and what this sit forum is all about.
People need to know that they do have a figure head to guide them through their own depression, and it's someone like you they can relate to.
I know what you are struggling with and boy oh boy I just wish that I could help you more so that you could be at peace.
I am now logging off as it's my stupid hours that click in, so again as usual you are in charge along with all the other responders who respond to those needing assistance which BB could not do without.
These are the people as well as you that keep this site going. Geoff.

Hey Neil
Just want to say hi and that I am thinking of you. Sorry to read that you are still in pain and that you are so tired. I really hope this holiday with your partner and kids makes a huge difference in your mental health. I know you are struggling and wish there was more I could do.
I hope you all have a fantastic, amazing holiday with lots of beautiful memories to share and remember forever.
These are the times when children remember the great times they had with their parents on holidays.
You are going to some amazing beautiful places, and a cruise!!! OMG that will be great!!
Sending you a great big hug, to you and your family.
Take care my friend
Jo xx

Hi Neil,
I am sorry to hearabout the muscle problems, but as you said you have done what you can to sort them out. You can't do anymore, no one could, so try not to think about it (harder I know). I really hope you can work within your limitations and have a ball on your trip.
This a real chance for a break, to see some places that sound stunning. We are all rooting for you here, and will be here when you get back.

Dear Geoff, Jo and so many other wonderful people;
This will be my last post and I won't be coming back ... OK OK OK, just jokes folks. (Hey, that rhymes!) How can something so simple, rhyme and yet you string a whole host of other words together and yeah, "get to the point Neil".
You know, I was thinking only the other day - about "time".
Way way back when - and I have no idea when, way back in perhaps the stone age or perhaps a bit further on from then.
WHO - who would have come up with the theory, the object of time. Yes, I could google it, but I'm not really up for that "actual answer".
I mean, people would see how the night turned from dark into dawn, into the sun rising. Surely in the old days before people knew about the sun - wouldn't you have thought that seeing the sun rise, come up over the horizon; wouldn't THAT have freaked them out? This massive red-ish object appearing and then looming over them and if they looked at it too much, it wasn't good for their eyes.
Would these people for a period of time lived in fear??
"Wow Neil - where did this come from?" When I was wanting to ask the question:
"How did someone come up with the terms: seconds, and then why would they have then said, we'll get to 60 seconds and then that will be called 'one minute'. We will then get to 60 minutes and we'll make a program that can be aired on a Sunday night starring initially George Negus and Jana Wendt and Ray Martin. And we'll say that 60 minutes will be 1 hour. Then WHY would it be 24 hours to be ONE DAY; going on the above, why was it not 60 hours?"
I'm fascinated and intrigued - and confused.
Cheers all; and like Arnie said, "I'll be back".
Neil
