Hi everyone

Well here I am again - back in hospital.  Don't know if it's a good or bad thing.  But I'm here and I am going to take as much rest as I can, do as many group sessions as possible.

I'm in a shared room and it is so weird - 3 of us who were here in April are all in today and we are in the same room!!!

I felt very withdrawn and nervous this morning, but as the day is going on I am not too bad.

I will keep you all updated.

Take care everyone, I have limited access to computer, so I will try and come on quickly every day.

Hi Jo,

I am glad to hear from you and that you are keeping us up to date. I am also glad that they could find a bed for you. I hope you can make the best out of your time there, and that you find it helps give you a break from the stresses of the real world.

I am thinking of you as always.

My dear Jo I'm relieved for you that your back in hospital. It's not a weakness-it's such a sign of your strength that you kept seeking help until you were heard. I know from your last visit you felt such relief for only having to focus on you. Jo usually these private clinics have a 21 or 28 day program-have you asked about that? Because from what I know private hospitals aren't for crises then let you go-they usually have a 3-4 week program of counselling, group sessions, art therapy, exercise etc. please ask about this as I think to get the most out of it you need much more than a week. Take the opportunity to stay as long as you can & get all the help you can. Don't worry about home or other things-put them in a capsule at the back of your head-your kids are adults & like your hubbie they will manage fine for a few weeks. I'm insisting on this because I don't want you only staying a short time cause you feel guilty about home. You need this time & respite so very much & take it or in a few weeks you'll want to be back again. So ask how long the program goes for & your psych would want you to do it so if it takes a few weeks well your mental health is the top priority at the moment. Good on you Jo your on the right path. Love Mares (Mary) ps I have a date for my Royal Commission hearing mid August-so nervous. I'll post separetlyn. Love you Jo x

Hi Jo,

Just wanted to wish you well. I hope that everything goes smoothly with the medication changes. We will all be thinking of you.

Sending you a virtual flower arrangement for your shared room:) It might be nice to have the familiar faces around you during your stay.

Hi to everyone

Thanks so much for your kind messages and thoughts.  Amber, I can picture your flowers on my table and they are beautiful.

I didn't have a very good night last night, waking up at 3am and then again at 4am.  Headaches are back, feeling exhausted.  Doing goal setting this afternoon and CBT later on.

At 3am I thought about leaving, didn't want to stay another night and thought I would go home tomorrow.  But I then called my mum and told her where I was and that my depression wasn't good and she seemed concerned. I ended up crying and she said I need to look after myself and rest.  So after speaking with her and just being in here a little bit longer, I have now decided to stay until next week.

Where I am no kids are allowed to stay. It's a private hospital with about 20 rooms.

It means a lot to me to know that you guys are thinking of me.

Thanks again
