What makes me smile?

*When my tiny puppy sophie runs up the hallway in the morning and nearly knocks me flying.

*When i get up at 5am to make hubby's lunch and he greets me with a smile and a hug.

*When my 93yo dad in highcare yesterday sent me a knitted Barbie doll toilet roll cover and a note "Something to cheer you up!" AND

*When sophie, my maltese takes up watch and sits on me, only when im going through a bad patch and cant see.

Hi. What a lovely cat you have. Its strange how animals know what to do when we dont.

My first cat used to like to play in the garage.. when we were busy looking for something he'd jump up onto H's shoulders as if to say "il check the top shelf for you!

Hi meercat,

This post might not fit in here but I was just laughing and remembered this thread.

My son is a big strong boy. Fitness nutter into mixed martial arts and full contact sparring sessions. His girlfriend is a fraction of his size and is girly girly.

She not long ago got back from the shops and had purchased a waxing treatment for her legs. Son was poking fun at her about waxing. She dared him to let her wax his leg. Well, the howling and screaming and swearing he just let fly with has me in giggles.

Obviously, full contact fighting has nothing on waxing a leg!! LOL

I doubt he'll be giving her and cheek about waxing again.

My 4 year old.

Today my 4 yo was going through her older sister's Geography textbook. She was looking at pictures of deserts, rainforests, mountains, islands. She has decided she is going to go on adventure when she is older and has made me promise that we can go together. In preparation she has packed a backpack with the following;

the pictures she was looking at so she knows where she wants to go;
a small pair of binoculars;
her favorite toy;
another bag for food and drink.
