Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

It down to one degree here this morning with a top forecast of 12.Might get the fire going.Things seem to be expiring my rainwater tank pump is playing up.I will see if I can get a guy out Monday and hopefully it doesn't need replacing.

Down to zero here last night and only 9 degrees maximum today! I have to go to the shops and buy a new electric blanket as mine has stopped working!

I sure hope you won't have to replace an entire water tank, Matchy. I think I feel colder just thinking of those temperatures.

Yeah, Hanna, the changes to the forums will take some getting used to. Some things are not helpful. I notice I cannot right click on a misspelled word & have a few suggested corrections offered. That could make things more difficult, because of how my text-to-speech announces "spelling error" preceding what it thinks are misspelled words.

I think, even though I am using the emojis I have via Microsoft / windows 10, & they first look like those, when I have looked bact, as in above posts, they arre now appearing like the new emojis, (but whre is the little button I'd seen & used just once or twice?)

Yes pining these topics and staggering around forum. 
im doing my deep breathing and trying to stay calm and not panic. iPad went for a fly yesterday when I couldn’t figure out where anything was and I had to keep logging in. 

im having a calming decaf extra large latte and English muffins with jam and I have Vegemite.  Next I’m thinking English breakfast tea. Plenty to share if anyone needs a warming drink and comfort food

Good morning everyone,

It does seem like a strange Friday. The cold weather is catching up with us. I am working from home still, not feeling good, but my son is staying in bed today with a cold. I am hopeful that it’s nothing more.

This morning, even after a second coffee, I feel groggy.

I have noticed that the forums look different on iPad and laptop. I don’t usually login on laptop and was surprised to find it different. It’s possibly even better on a desktop pc. I am sure that everyone will eventually learn to navigate through.

Hello all,

The wind up here is adding to the chill and I don't want to go out in it. However, my son turned twelve today and we needed to celebrate. We went to the local KFC (which cost an arm and a leg for four people) but that is his favorite restaurant. It was a nice time, and there will be time for cake later. He got a "flying V" guitar for his birthday which he seems to like.

I am getting the hang of the new forum, a bit confusing at first. I found it difficult to see the first post or the first thread under the forum banner but have got the hang of it now.

Right now I'm having a cup of green tea. Gotta leave room for that cake.

HiEveryone, hope you are toasty-warm now. I've been on & off here all day, between my feet being too hot, then freezing, eating, & other mundane stuff, & I'm going to have to take it easy tomorrow, because my eye is becoming stingy & needs break - it's my 'good' eye, so I can't push too much more.

I want to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Leisa's son.🎂Hip, hip, hooray! 🎇

Saturday morning always seems to fly by. 

I can’t believe my son is going to a wedding today. A friend from high school is getting married. Gosh they seem so young. I was 19 and hubby 24 on our wedding day, but we felt older. Now when 20 something year olds get married, I feel like they are still so young.

How times have changed.
