The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Good morning, Onthe Road, & everyone 😺

I presume there were vegetables in the soup?

Early up again, so I may as well have a decent breakfast. Cereal which is almost a muesli, with extra grape & strawberry pieces I will add. I feel like having some toast as well. Why am I so hungry?

I check he weather forecast again & they reckon the maximum temperature today will only be 16°C - that's very unusually cool for where I am. Therefore, as I enjoy soup on cold cloudy days, I'lll be having soup later, something like chicken & broccoli. Then for dinner, pasta with tomatoey sauce I'll make to pour over it. & somewhere in there I may well have a mandarin as well. Well, this is the plan, anyway.

Hi again, everyone! 😺 Finally found my way back here... trekking through the cold winter rain! Big boots, 🥾🥾🥾🥾like these & my fur is frozen. I'm so grateful for the fireplace, the hot mug ☕of chocolate, so good this afternoon.

(Something has happened to the Red Hearts I've been propagating all over the place - they have turned white (or black? on your screen?)

Hi mmMeKitty! Hi all!  Good to see you here. 

Eventually found my way here to the cafe haha. Reminds me of how I drive in an unfamiliar car - I feel clumsy navigating around the new website but some time and practise will help I’m sure, and it looks very promising :). Hopefully we can help each other out too.

Hi Gambit, LilyLane On the Road, Leisa & all. It's taking me longer to get around. I eventually discovered why the excitement over Emojis - it was the little button above the text I'm writing in the text box. These little buttons & some other things are not announcing themselves to me, no audio to explain what that little thing is ... but I figure I won't blow anything up, so I pressed the button!

BB's Emoji library doesn't allow me to have a list of recently used or to copy & paste, so i't going to be slow going getting all the ❤️s out there... but at least BB's look red!

It's going to take a while to sort things out, & feel comfortable, again

I don't like the idea of having to 'follow' or have an RsS Feed - how many times a day will I be notified of the fact someone else has posted in the threads I've selected? I don't really undersand how these things work - never having done any RSS Feeds or 'following' like this before.... If I am frequently recieving notifications while I am doing other things on my PC (not my phone I hope!) because of how I have to hear what is happening on my PC, phone, & incidently, my tele, too, can you imagine? But I'm finding it difficult to find the posts I want to read, & maybe post to, regularly,without going through pages of 'All discussions'.

I'll try more, before deciding if this has got too difficult.

Like you I'm finding it difficult to find the posts I want to read or post to without going through pages looking for it... 

Settings says we can turn off the email & pop up notifications & we will still get posts in our notifications feed section... email & pop up don't suit my needs so I turned them off

However I've selected follow on the top of the thread yet I'm not getting anything show up in my notifications feed despite when I check this thread more posts having been made...

I can't find anything that explains the difference between the follow button on each post & the follow button  in the options section at the top of the thread

I'm confused... I don't even know what a RSS feed is & googling it just confused me more

I'm finding this version less intuitive for working out how to use it than I did the old version... fingers crossed I will get there... I hope
