The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

Hello everyone....

I drink both decaf tea and coffee....taste better to me then caffeinated coffee an tea....I especially I like the decaf cappuccino’s in those single satchels....you get 10 in a box...

Thank you Geoff, for keeping us updated...I really do appreciate it....Someone once told me to not answer the phone with yes...as they can record it and add it to contracts you haven’t authorised....

I have drunk both decaf and caffeinated, and find them the same. Hot chocolate is also good as well. Another miserable day, but am going to a cabaret concert today at 2 pm. Should be fun. I wonder if you can sing with them? Maybe I shouldn't I could scare somebody. 🙂

Oh, I have normal instant coffee. I don't know why change to decaf, especially if it is more expensive. I'd rather find an alternate mornig drink & quit the coffee. No, not chocolate - needs too much sweetening too. & I am not very fond of tea. I do't know... fruit juices are high in sugar, even before adding any...

Hello mmMekitty and Grandy, it is so tempting to believe what these people say to you, but all they want is your money.

I got scammed many years ago when I just got my laptop and lost $400 as they told a youngster that my new laptop was infected, how I ever believed them, anyway the bank gave me $200 back, but a lesson I learned, never to be fooled again.

Hi Geoff,

I am well-aware of many ways people will try to scam others. Nevertheless I appreciate the reminders, & how these can help to keep us all safe from these scams.

What does concern me is that as we age, our cognition may decline to such an extent that we are making unsound decisions we can't imagine making now. What do we do to protect ourselves from the possibility that our ability to assess & recognise scams fails? What safe-guards can we put in place to help us in the event we can't help ourselves?
