The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ... 

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Took me a couple hours writing up what I did to make my 'Tomato, Garlic & Pesto Savoury Cake' as a recipe people may be able to follow. If you have a look & are unsure about anything, please ask... I really didn't think I'd use up the character count & have to edit it to fit. I think it's okay to follow.

Dessert is yoghurt with fresh passionfruit added.

Hello BB Cafe and the beautiful people visiting today....🤗.

I woke up to a gorgeous sunny day, nothing much compares to a brand new day...especially when the sun shines its warm rays upon our beautiful universe...

Birds are singing, the cows are mooo ing, the kangaroos are grazing and me..I’m getting ready for a volunteers day at the charity shop...

I have put another log on our cafes fire....Cooked a huge breakfast for everyone...some hot creamy porridge, hot buttered toast, nice warm oven fresh scones and bought in some honey, jam and some fruit....things that will warm your tummy and sooth your soul...

I hope today brings everyone some peace in their lives as well as some happiness.....and you all can find at least 5 minutes to sit outside and take a rest from your busy day today...

Hi Grandy it's a cloudy cold day here at the moment.Debating whether to put the fire on.I usually sit outside in the sun for a bit but no sun here yet.

It's a gorgeous day here too. I'm sitting on the couch with a cuppa waiting for a delivery of new clothes from Autograph - so excited!

I was up (following an early evening snooze) &way too late into the early morning. I know I noticed when it was 10:30, but forgot while I was editing my recipe to post....imagine, I also thought I'd get to edit another post before bed, but could not, by then, sit here any longer. Awake awhile longer anyway -noises.

I do hope there are leftovers! I got up again at 10:30 this morning. I've had a little breakfast.

Yet, sun out there. I promise to take at least 5 minutes.😺

Note, the daylight hours are lengthening again, following the Winter Solstice (June 21). Happy, though I'm not feeling it yet. We still have July & August...brrr

Good morning to all the beautiful BB Cafe family..

Dropping in to bring some goodies today for all the community members, who just want to come into here and chill out...

Some iced tea and coffee in the fridge, some chocolates,candy, biscuits, cakes and vegetable chips...

Yesterday a customer brought her teeny weeny little puppy in and bought some baby clothes to dress her in...one little outfit was a growth suit made into a frog...oh my goodness puppy looked so cute..l.Im sure that puppy will be spoilt and well loved....

I occasionally put little ribbons in my fur babies fur...they do look cute on them...

Does anyone else her, Put winter coats on their fur babies to dress them up sometimes in different costumes?..

Yesterday was sunny but only 10 deg...today is a mirror image of Yesterday...weather wise...but it’s a new day for us...completely different from yesterday....I hope everyone enjoys today, and gets a chance to pop in here, sit back and enjoy some munchies...

The juke box is up and running again..I’ve just selected...”Oh what a beautiful morning”....From Rodgers and Hammerstein “Oklahoma”...What will you select from our jukebox?...

I think I'd enjoy vegetable Chips.

Usually I find the practice of dressing animals in clothese questionable, but, while it is o cold, how can I object? I bet the little pup was more happy being warm, than being green. You know it's not easy being green?🐸Now there's a song about self-acceptance, 😺in a world that sometimes is not a good fit for us. 💭💭💭Various ways of thinking about this simmer away in my mind, while I lie stretched out on the pool table.

I have a miss independent cat who just would not tolerate any clothes or bows on her. I do see little dogs around with clothes and they look so cute. Some of them even look proud. I had a lovely ham steak for breakfast with egg and went to a specialist burger and rib restaurant after I saw the Elvis movie today. The burger was delicious, when you get a good one you just want one all the time (or maybe that's just me).

My cat is so funny actually, she taunts the dogs next door some of the days, they just go mad barking at her, whilst she just rolls around the pavement out the back of our house whilst keeping one eye on them. They are locked behind a large fence and cannot get at her and she knows it. She also has a funny thing of scratching you gently when she is going to settle on your lap, it hurts a little, and it's maddening. We also have a bird, and the cat generally leaves him alone. She's a good girl.

Thanks, Grandy for the food, I've bought some cinnamon donuts and Robert Timms coffee bags. I hope all are well.
