Good movies that require no thinking!

Hi Guys,

Recently watched a movie called '5 Flights Up'. So good, no heavy content, was almost like listening to pleasant jazz music. Decided I need to do this more often.

Any ideas for more movies that don't require my brain power would be appreciated .

Think I might go watch ' You've Got Mail' tonight, hoping its mellow.

Hey there,

My go to movie when I am sick or blue, or any time for that matter is Local Hero.

Slow paced, often comedic (but very low key) with beautiful Scottish scenery and one of the most underrated soundtracks of all time by Mark Knopfler. Cast includes Burt Lancaster and a young Peter Capaldi.

Another great one is Michael starring John Travolta.

Movies for me in no order...

  1. Indy Jones (most of them?)
  2. Karate Kid (first one)
  3. Pirates of the Caribbean (first one)

(These are a far cry from the movies I generally watch)

My favourite fun movie is The Boat that Rocked. Fantastic sound track, very funny, great cast. I like the ‘in-jokes’ that the friends share. The characters are impossibly groovy and weirdly are good company.
