Hi Laser,

I like how you added the 'why is it important to you' that will be interesting to read.

By the way you didn't mention... What is your favourite?

My favourite is The Princess Bride. I love the happy ending. The gentle humour. The fairy tale. The little boy who interrupts the story continuously to avoid "the kissy stuff". It never fails to make me laugh and smile.

I like it best of all because of the relationship between the Grandfather and Grandson. "As you wish"... It reminds me of my Grandparents.

My favourite movie/s is

STAR WARS - all of them

I first saw the phantom menace in cinema, then mum got me the vhs. I hired them so often she finally baught them for me. I loved the adventure, the out of this world, the force, the dark side, everything. It was kinda my escape from reality of anxiety plus it was entertaining.

I have so many favourites and what make sit a favourite I can see it many many times and never ever tire of it.

For today one of my many favourites is Educating Rita, with Julie Walters and Michael Caine , just wonderful because of the two actors and the theme of a working class girl trying to educate herself and a teacher who is tired of teaching and very cynical but sees in Rita something he has not seen in his students in a long time.

Quirky

Oooh Laserbeam this is tricky – I love so many movies. I’ll just have to go with one I enjoyed recently – Carrie on Netflix. It’s a quirky flick about a young female who is book smart but struggles to fit into the norms of society. Her psychologist gives her a list of “normal” things to do to try and make her happy like buy a pet, go to a party etc. and she works her way through the list. It was a light movie and I probably related to some of her awkwardness J

Well I have countless favourites. Including Luis Bunuel, Dario Argento, Mario Bava, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Lars von Trier, Alejandro Jodorowosky and more! I watch these films repeatedly! One of my favourites though is Twister. The excitement of the stormchasers, the special effects, plot and acting were amazing to me. I'm a volunteer Storm Spotter with the Bureau of Meteorology, so I really enjoyed Twister.

Too many faves for me, GOODFELLAS is one of them. But the film that spoke to me was The Bridges Of Maddison County. The push and pull of love vs circumstances of life, and the hard choices one must make, even when you want something so deeply. Makes me cry every time. ps. I'm a guy who loves romance movies lol

Avatar is a personal favourite for many reasons, such as living in balance with nature. After seeing it for the first time, I never wanted that overwhelming feeling of bliss to fade.
